Another good installment in the Hallow's series. Love Jenks, Al cracks me up (I have a feeling Al will be playing more of a role in Rachel's life), and love the trouble Rachel gets herself into. The feel of this book makes me think that this series is going to start a new direction, can't wait to find out!

I haven't been blogging about what books I read lately because, well, there is just not enough time in the day.
Anyways I just finished Graceling by Kristin Cashore and I loved it until they up to before the end. I just felt the ending was a little anti-climatic but the rest of the book was awesome. Can't wait for the 2nd book FIRE due out in October later this year : )

Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! This book is the story of Clay and Jeremy. Everything you always wondered about in the Women of the Otherworld series about the Pack, is in this book. I love Clay, he had me laughing a couple times and the insight to Jeremy was very interesting to say the least.
I would not recommend this book unless you have read the series but if you have read the series, then this book is a must read!

Well what can I say... I am hooked. This is definitely one of those series where I am glad I didn't judge it by the 1st book. Bella still gets on my nerves real bad, but I am a sucker for a good love story and The Twilight Sega series is an awesome love story with all the right ingredients!

Just finished the 2nd book in the Riley Jenson series, Kissing Sin. This book held my interest much more than the 1st and I can't help but cheer for the vampire, Quinn. So with that being said I will read the rest of the series just to see who Riley throws into the mix : )

Well I finished the 2nd book in the all famous Twilight series and I can say I enjoyed this book more than the last. Bella still gets on my nerves but I enjoyed the story line better. I have Eclipse to read but I am in serious need of break from YA : )

Shadow Kiss is the 3rd book in the Vampire Academy series. If you are reading this to find out if want to read this series, please do. I was thrown off by the name of the series for a very long time. My heart breaks for Rose : ( I didn't see that ending coming at all. I am definitely looking forward to Blood Promise in August.

This is the 4th book in the Nightwalkers series. It was definitely my favorite by far. The sex was there but I really enjoyed how the characters play out. It could also be my favorite because I seemed to favor vampires over other supernaturals : )

This is the 5th installment of the Jaz Parks series. I enjoyed this book although I wouldn't call it my favorite series. I love the way Jaz's mind thinks, it can actually be laugh out loud funny at times. I am happy about her Vayl, FINALLY. I think I keep expecting this series to get serious and it never will be and that's ok : )

Loved it!! Rose is growing and I am loving her more. This book had an unexpected twist that I totally didn't see coming, it happened so quick. I love when that happens in a book. I cried and laughed with this book. I can't wait for my hold at the library to come in, Shadow Kissed.

So I finished Bones of Faerie in about 5 hrs. The book flowed well and was an enjoyable read. What I didn't like were the unanswered questions. For example why did the war between humans & faerie start & how did that translate to humans getting magic after the war. Maybe it's just me but this book left to many unanswered questions for it to be anything more than just OK : (

The Forbidden by L.A. Banks is the 5th installment of Vampire Huntress Legend. This book infuriated me because I feel like I missing parts and need to read in between the lines. Sometimes I feel like I just want to walk away from the book & series altogether. Other times I am really into it. I am not sure if I will continue to read this series because it feels more like a job.
But maybe I will read book 6, who knows.

Just finished A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands. It was a nice enjoyable quick read. Although this series will go in my "not running out to by the series but will read after intense books" list.
Love the cucumber part, lol!!! It was kind of like a mindless read which is just what I needed after Kushiel's Chosen.

I really enjoyed this book, almost loved but not quite :) Phedre is awesome in so many ways. I cried & laughed & at times held my breath to see what would happen on her journey. It's so hard to describe this book because so many things happen, it's like your are living it as you read it. I will give myself a break before I move on to Kushiel's Avatar.

I LOVED this book. I absolutely love Rose. She is sassy, strong, & passionate. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series, as soon as I can get it from my library. I also enjoy the different take on vampires & how that's even broken down.
This will be in my top favs for YA series, I am sure of it!

Blood Drive by Jeanne Stein is the 2nd bk in the Anna Strong series. I enjoyed reading the book but have yet to make a decision as to how I feel about Anna. I am trying to see that she is new to the world of the supernatural but sometimes her way of thinking drives me crazy. I will continue to read the series to see how she deals with her new world.

Well I am all caught in the series House of Night. I just finished Untamed by PC & Kristin Cast. The books in this series are getting better & better with each addition. This book had more magic and more action. I am so happy Zoey is coming into her own with no secrets, that was getting to me. I am also happy Neferet is outed as the bad guy, well at least to her friends. It also looks like the next book will promise more of the same magic & action I love!!

Can you tell I had 4 days off...in a row? I just finished The Becoming by Jeanne C. Stein & I really enjoyed it. Anna is turned against her will & has no time to adjust. All kinds of twist & turns keep getting thrown in her face. This series is sure to be an awesome read.

So I just finished the 3rd book of the House of Night series, CHOSEN. This is probably my favorite so far. I mentally remind myself before I read these books that they are YA & that helps me. I really enjoy this book because of all the magic mixed in with Vampires & Goddesses : )

Well I am never disappointed when I read an installment of the Morganville Vampires series. Lord of Misrule (bk 5) was an awesome action packed read. I wish these books were a little longer though. And as always, it ends in a cliffhanger. Luckily the next one, Carpe Corpus, comes out this June!

I wanted to love this book but I just couldn't. The story line was excellent but Sunshine's micro thinking got on my nerves and made it a slow read. When she wasn't micro thinking the book flew was very good. Please keep in my mind that while I read this book, it was during a PMS time...poor book : )

Well I have finally read the most talked about book since I become a member of shelfari. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and will most definitely read the rest of the series as well as see the movie.
But I didn't love it and I think that is because I heard to much about it, that there was no way for it to live up to my expectation..

Another wonderful book. There is no other way to describe it. Basic human love and a nasty elfin knight. If you liked The Sugar Queen & Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen then this book is a must read.

What can I say but WOW!!! This was the best one yet and the others were excellent. Cat & Bones make an awesome team. This book had so much action, romance, and some fine kick ass vampires, Bones being the best, of course : ) If you're reading this blog and have not read The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost, you are doing yourself a great disservice.

I just finished Urban Shaman by C.E. Murphy (The Walker Papers series). The book was 3 1/2 stars. Joanne Walker is a normal woman who finds out she has some powers and has to stop the Wild Hunt from staying on Earth forever. This book has a little bit of everything in it. I kind of felt that the book had so much potential but just never got there. I gave it 3 1/2 stars because I think this might be the beginning of a great series. So I decided to read the next one, Winter Moon (which is just a short story) and see what happens.
Now I am on to my 1st in my reading list At Grave's End by Jeaniene Frost.
